Backyard Butterflies, EIN 83-3626758, is a tax exempt charitable organization as described in 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Backyard Butterflies is incorporated in the state of North Carolina. No goods or services were provided by Backyard Butterflies in return for this contribution.

In accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines, Backyard Butterflies maintains discretion and sole control over the use of all donated funds once a receipt is issued. All donations are non-refundable. Backyard Butterflies honors the donor’s request for any of our pre-approved programs and projects whenever possible. In rare cases when that is not possible, gifts will be used where needed. Therefore, donors explicitly release Backyard Butterflies from any restrictions on how those funds are spent.
