Education
Educating our greater community is the first essential part of our mission. We currently provide the following educational activities that can be customized for all age groups and levels of interest.
Classes
We offer classes for both children and adults. Class structure and content can be customized to suit your group or organization’s needs and interests. Classes can be held at your location or at Backyard Butterflies.
Guest Speaker
Have us speak to your club, organization, or group.
Presentations
We offer Power Point presentations on a variety of butterfly related topics. Length and content of our presentations can be adjusted to meet your needs. You will need to provide AV euipment. We can also bring live butterflies to the presentation if available.
Workshops
Our Raise-a-Caterpillar workshop will show you how to successfully raise a Black Swallowtail caterpillar into a butterfly. We can conduct workshops at your location or at Backyard Butterflies. Workshops are available for all age groups.
