Description

Butterfly identification is a complex thought process that goes beyond rote memorization of static images. We will teach you the various skills necessary for making a correct ID. We will then head out on some trails to practice your newly learned skills.

Availability

This class is available April through September.

duration

Class time is variable. The lecture portion is 90 minutes. The practical portion is a minimum of 60 minutes.

Hands on learning

We will venture out on hiking trails to search for butterflies in their natural habitats to apply our knowledge learned during lecture.

We can customize parts of this class to suit your group's needs.

Location

The lecture portion can be held at our location or a facility of your choosing.
