Long Leaf Pine Festival 2019

Join us at the Long Leaf Pine Festival at Harris Lake County Park! We will have a limited selection of host and nectar plants available for purchase. As always, we will bring with us any live caterpillars or butterflies that are currently available from our habitat.

We will have a special exhibit about woodland butterflies. Woodland butterflies are a unique group of lepidoptera as they prefer or utilize other sources of food than flower nectar. Finding them for observation can be a bit tricky and typically requires going to remote locations.
