Red Columbine

Our Experience

In our habitat Red Columbine is a sign of spring warmth and the start of butterfly season. Many species of bees love feeding on the nectar of this easily grown and cared for plant.

What we like about this plant is that it will self-sow all over the yard. It’s not prolific or aggressive in re-seeding. It politely spreads itself about the yard often from a distance of the original planting.
