Our Experience
Monarda, or bee balm, is a member of the Mint Family. This intense red flower is a favorite of hummingbirds and Swallowtail butterflies. It loves to sprawl so be sure to give it plenty of room to grow! However, it will be quite happy in a container, too!
We recommend giving the plants some support as they get a bit top heavy when in full flower mode especially after a rainstorm.
