Our Experience

Our property has mature tulip poplar trees that have raised many Tiger Swallowtails over the years. The trees are tall and provide a lot of shade. Best for a yard with a lot of space.

Because our trees are mature the lowest limbs are well above our reach. How we find caterpillars is by looking for them on the random tree seedlings that pop up in the yard. We let the seedlings grow for a few years before removing them.
