Our Experience

This species of Monarda slowly spreads each year. It thrives on benign neglect. It may require some support as the stalks can become heavy after a hard rain. True to its name, we notice a lot of bumble bees hovering around the flowers.

The flowers are a soft, pale pink–not as vibrant or bold as some of the Monarda cultivars–but still beautiful.
